ROBLOX Reviews: Armored Patrol v6.4 vs Rescue Or Be Rescued!

Hello! Today I am writing a brand new kind of review. A versus place review.

Basically, two places are put together and marked, the winner is the one that wins the most rounds!

Armoured Patrol v6.4 by Wingman8

Idea: 8/10
The idea of the game is to beat the other team by capturing flags in a certain time. It is not that original, but then it was one of the first places of its kind.


Playability: 6/10
The controls for the vehicles are a bit hard to get used to, as they are very key-based, and not the WASD or Arrow Keys, however steering is easy, just click with the mouse


Scripting: 9/10
The game is very well scripted, has timers, and the teams cannot be unbalanced. There is an Anti-TK script, and the weapons are great. Also, data persistance is used to good effect, saving your points.
There is a well scripted shop too!.

Enviroment: 6/10

The enviroment is very good in this game with many hills, and some nice foresty areas, though the game does lack alot of variety

Overall: 8/10
A classic ROBLOX place, it has very good scripting, some nice enviroment features and it very playable, but it is lacking in variety, as all you do is capture flags.

Rescue or be rescued! by Coltonator505

Idea: 5/10
There has been alot of Rescue places in the last couple of months, and this one is no exception to the rule. You are a Pilot or a someone who is stranded. Simple enough and not very original. Some of these planes are copied too, from Ro-Force Air Base

Playability: 7/10
The game works well, though landing on an island could cause your plane to disintergrate.


Scripting: 4/10
Not much at all really.


Enviroment: 7/10
The enviroment is quite varied, with different, and what seems to be, well constructed islands, and there are 5 to visit. (including the aircraft carrier, that is).

Overall: 6/10

The game lacks any good scripting, and the planes seem to be stolen from Ro-Force Air base, well some of them at least. The enviroment is good, but the idea is not very original.

Schedule?

Yes, thats right. Now, even though I don't have a schedule, since the weekend is when I have the most time to do anything I want, I've been thinking about a posting schedule. I was thinking it like this:

Monday: Any ROBLOX updates, if any.
Tuesday: Any ROBLOX updates, if any or competition or review.
Wednesday: Any ROBLOX updates, if any.
Thursday: Any ROBLOX updates, if any.
Friday: Review & Any ROBLOX updates, if any.
Saturday: Video tutorial or written tutorial.
Sunday: Review or written tutorial.

So thats what I'll trying to be going by from today but there are no guarantees that I'll stick to it. This depends on how busy I am. There shouldn't be anything going on apart from school and any holidays I've got from now till the end of the year as I've already had all my orthodontist appointments this year (next one is next year in January to get my bottom brace tightened) and I've had my two teeth out this week so unless something pops up in the meantime, I will try to stick to this schedule as much as I can. But as I said, there will be no promises. Anyway, I'll let you carry on reading and bloxxing. :)

New ROBLOX Updates

Today a new ROBLOX update came out.
Theres been an update to the site. On the My ROBLOX page.

Now, before this update, the My ROBLOX page was *very* messy. Text went everywhere like your best friends status updates and group shouts. With this new update, this has been changed. As seen in this picture, all the text is in its desired area, not out of it at all. Quite good personally and along with the personal servers update, I think ROBLOX is doing quite well this year. But thats just my opinion. What do you guys think about this update? Post in the comments section below with your opinions. I'd love to hear them!

What are you know for on ROBLOX?

I am known, in the ROBLOX car maker, I own the largest company on ROBLOX, I have 75K profile visits

What car company do you own?

CF Motors, the largest company on RBLX

How did you get your group so successful?

It's really hard to say and to be honest, to this day, I don't really know. Iguess if you have got the determination, and you want to go far, you can make miracles.

How long ago was CF Made?

About a year and a quartre ago, August 2010 it was made.

Its grown alot since then, how many people now?

Well we started a large recruiting drive a while ago, got 100 members in two days. Currently we have 550 members

So, moving away from CF Motors, what is your favourite game and why?

Hmm, Its a very hard question. I do like quite a few, especially the racing ones, being me off course. Probably trucking tycoon by Immi. I helped Immi develop it.

Who is your favourite ROBLOXian and why?

Most people think I'm mental when I say it (Especially as CF is now rivals with them) but boidsie is one of my favourite. He was my role model as a young ROBLOXian. I worked for him in my early career, he was great, before BM (Boidsie Motors) became to big to handle.

Intresting, so to wrap it up, is there anything you wish to say to everyone.

I don't really have a motto, but its one from real life. Edited, about ROBLOX.

Wanna make a group. Dont think it will achieve, do it. Wanna be famous try it, wanna be a great friend, its always possible. Basically you can do anything you want to and CF is an example. You just need to put your mind to it.

To the future?

I am putting my mind of CF having 1,000 members. I can confortably say I will achieve it
